A deposit of half the agreed upon final price is required before work can begin to cover material costs. Once the work has been completed and approved, the remaining balance will be due before the item will be shipped/dropped-off.

Once work has begun on the project, significant changes are not allowed. Any changes will increase both timeline and price.

If something arrives damaged or isn't what was agreed upon, we'll make it right — full stop. Because most of our work is made to order, we don't accept returns on custom pieces simply due to a change of mind. Reach out and we'll work something out.

We ship anywhere in the United States via USPS Priority Mail. Tracking is included with every order. International shipping is available on request — reach out before ordering and we'll get you a rate.

USPS Priority Mail typically delivers in 2–5 business days once shipped. In-stock items usually ship within 1–3 business days of payment. Custom commissions ship once the piece is finished — we'll give you a timeline when we confirm your order.

Yes — if you're in the Upstate South Carolina area, local pickup is available and there's no shipping charge. Just mention it when you order and we'll coordinate.

We'll send your tracking number as soon as the package is in the mail. If you haven't heard anything within the expected timeframe, don't hesitate to reach out.

Wallets, belts, bags, knife sheaths, holsters, journal covers, masks, straps, dog collars, hats, key fobs — if it's leather and it's reasonable to make by hand, we'll consider it. If you're not sure whether your idea qualifies, just ask.

Most commissions take 2–6 weeks depending on complexity and where you fall in the queue. We'll give you a realistic estimate when we confirm your order and update you if anything changes.

It depends on the piece. Simple items like key fobs or card wallets start around $40–60. More complex pieces like bags or heavily tooled sheaths run $150 and up. We'll give you a firm quote before any work begins — no surprises.

Absolutely. Leather color, tooling patterns, hardware finish, thread color, personalization — all of it is on the table. The more detail you give us in your commission request, the better we can match your vision.

Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather from reputable tanneries. Full-grain means it's the top layer of the hide — the strongest, most durable part — with all its natural character intact. Vegetable tanning uses natural tannins rather than harsh chemicals and produces leather that ages beautifully over decades.

Yes — and that's a feature, not a bug. Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather develops a rich patina over time based on how it's used and carried. No two pieces age exactly the same way. Your wallet or belt will look better at five years than it did on day one.

Keep it away from prolonged moisture and direct heat. We recommend seasonal conditioning to keep your leather looking its best with a quality leather balm or conditioner — we make our own in the shop if you'd like some. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature. Don't force-dry it with heat.

By hand, every time. Every design is put there one stamp or swivel knife cut at a time. It takes longer and every piece has slight, unique differences. That's exactly the point.

Solid brass or bronze depending on the piece. No pot metal, no chrome plating that flakes off after a year. The hardware is chosen to last as long as the leather does.
